Don’t Fight While You’re Injured

This is sound advice no matter what sport you choose to participate in.  Make sure that you give your body time to recover.  Learn the difference between being sore and being injured, sore muscles are uncomfortable but not serious it just means you worked hard.  Injuries, on the other hand require time to heal.  A minor injury can turn into months away from your workouts if not given enough time to heal.

Safety equipment is necessary but it will only protect you so far, listen to your body and be careful no matter what sport you participate in.
